Drawing Class Portraits

Drawing 1 took a day and drew portraits of each other with brush and ink. Using a large wash brush to make bold lines really seems to have loosened everyone up. I'm really proud of this group of drawings and the people who made them:

Quilting Bee

Today was a blast! Design 2 class made 9 patch paper quilt blocks out of 3 inch squares. They arranged them however they felt looked best and we tacked them on the wall.

Everyone had input on how the squares should be arranged:







Then the quilt was ready for the parazzi:



My contribution was a signature square made of cream Rives BFK. Each student signed their name.



Here's the whole class with their quilt...there was a picture that included me, but I was blocking the view of a student. I'd rather the students be represented here.

Design 2

Don't forget to bring your nine patch tomorrow! It should be made up of 3 three inch squares across and 3 three inch squares down, totally 9 solid colored 3 inch squares total. Like a tic tac toe board. I'm bringing my camera so don't let us down!
